Two men, each armed with a gun, robbed an employee at a smoke shop in the Otay Mesa West area of south San Diego on Monday night, police said.
The robbery was reported about 8:40 p.m. at the shop on Beyer Way near Palm Avenue.
The pair made off in a sedan. One of them was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black beanie, a jacket and dark pants, police said. The other robber was said to be 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a hoodie and gray or black pants.
No further information was immediately available.
