From Coffee to Cocktails, Coronado’s Newest Neighborhood Restaurant Offers It All

Telling Eater that he will continue to steer operations, Fox said that he foresees opening a few more outposts of Flower Child in San Diego and may look to bring over other concepts, including his pizza and rotisserie restaurant Doughbird. An eleven-time James Beard Award nominee for Outstanding Restaurateur, Sam Fox of <a href="https://www.foxrc.com/">Fox Restaurant Concepts</a> introduced <a href="https://www.thehenryrestaurant.com/"><strong>The Henry</strong></a><strong> </strong>to Coronado this week. Though the headquarters for his restaurant empire are in Phoenix, the True Food Kitchen founder calls Coronado home and has launched several eateries in the San Diego area including Flower Child, North Italia, and Blanco Tacos + Tequila. At 5,176-square-feet, with a 1,445-square-foot patio, the Coronado outpost is smaller than its counterparts in Phoenix, West Hollywood, and Dallas, and features a Southern California-inspired design and more seafood-based dishes. The classic American menu includes shrimp cocktail, charred avocado salad, rotisserie chicken, and braised short ribs. A weekday happy hour, offered from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., ranges from wine and cocktails to parmesan truffle fries and a burger. </div>
