A homicide investigation was underway late Wednesday night in southeastern San Diego’s Encanto neighborhood, police said.
Few details about the incident were immediately available, but it was reported just after 10:35 p.m., San Diego police Officer John Buttle said.
It happened on Varney Drive near Leaf Terrace, in a residential neighborhood north of Division Street and Plaza Boulevard.
Homicide detectives remained at the scene early Thursday morning, but no other details were available.
