Hubbard, 33, wife of Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, decided to undergo breast implant removal because of anxiety. She was concerned about having breast implant illness after hearing that there was a rise in the number of cases. The newly emerging syndrome occurs on people with implants. She also noted that she wanted to look more natural as well.
“I got mine removed because I had a textured gummy bear silicone implant, which they are not putting in people’s bodies anymore,” she said on her Instagram Story Wednesday. “At the time when I got mine they were the latest, the greatest, the most natural ever. Now they’re not. So that’s why I was just like, I want to get them out.”
Hubbard was not sure if her implants were affecting her health. However, she was not willing to take risks because she has three children — sons Atlas Roy, 5 months, and Lucas Reed, 18 months, and daughter Olivia Rose, 3.
“I don’t know that I was feeling badly; I’ve been pregnant for three years, so it could’ve been a number of things,” she continued. “But just the anxiety of having them in my body was not worth it, and I wanted a more natural look.”
After removing the implants, the doctors performed a fat transfer where they took fat from another part of her body and placed it into her breasts. It was a more natural process “which I love,” she added.
“It looks super natural,” Hubbard continued.
Hubbard was glad with her decision to have her implants removed. However, the fat transfer was excruciating than she expected.
“I highly recommend it, if it is for you. And it did hurt quite a bit, the fat transfer hurt a lot, actually,” she said. “The implant removal was not painful, I mean it was for a couple days, but all in all it was what I expected. The fat transfer was a lot more than I expected.”
Hubbard also appeared in the “Meaning Full Living” podcast Monday where she opened up about the importance of having intimate moments between partners. She shared that she and her husband are “intentional” when it comes to making time for sex and it helped them in terms of parenting their kids.
“Intimacy is part of a strong marriage, and, you know, a strong marriage leads to strong parenting. It’s important,” she said.
