David Maxwell of Colliers International represented the landlord and the tenant in the transaction.
Brunch with attitude is coming to Hillcrest courtesy of Breakfast Bitch, which is opening on Fifth Avenue in one of the The Guild Theatre building spaces. Due in July, the eatery will serve a daytime menu based on croissants, whether stuffed with veggie scramble or hash browns and eggs, or topped with lobster Benedict; griddle-your-own pancakes may also be featured. Boozy brunch drinks will include beer, wine, mimosas, and Bloody Marys.
Running from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, the restaurant will have a speakeasy, lounge-like design, and stay open all day on Sunday with DJs spinning from the morning onwards. It’ll keep late night/early morning hours on Fridays and Saturdays, from midnight to 4 a.m., with non-alcoholic CBD spritzers available into the wee hours.
