Brunch with attitude is coming to Hillcrest courtesy of <strong>Breakfast Bitch</strong>, which is opening on Fifth Avenue in one of the The Guild Theatre building spaces. Due in July, the eatery will serve a daytime menu based on croissants, whether stuffed with veggie scramble or hash browns and eggs, or topped with lobster Benedict; griddle-your-own pancakes may also be featured. Boozy brunch drinks will include beer, wine, mimosas, and Bloody Marys. Running from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, the restaurant will have a speakeasy, lounge-like design, and stay open all day on Sunday with DJs spinning from the morning onwards. It’ll keep late night/early morning hours on Fridays and Saturdays, from midnight to 4 a.m., with non-alcoholic CBD spritzers available into the wee hours. <div> <blockquote data-instgrm-captioned="" data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxqa2cRHP0s/" data-instgrm-version="12"><div> <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxqa2cRHP0s/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> <div> <div></div> <div> <div></div> <div></div> </div> </div> <div></div> <div><svg width="50px" height="50px" viewbox="0 0 60 60" version="1.1" xmlns="https://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"><g stroke="none" stroke-width="1" fill="none" fill-rule="evenodd"><g transform="translate(-511.000000, -20.000000)" fill="#000000"><g></path></g></g></g></svg></div> <div> <div> View this post on Instagram</div> </div> <div></div> <div> <div> <div></div> <div></div> <div></div> </div> <div> <div></div> <div></div> </div> <div> <div></div> <div></div> <div></div> </div> </div></a> </path></g></g></g></svg></div> <div> <div> View this post on Instagram</div> </div> <div></div> <div> <div> <div></div> <div></div> <div></div> </div> <div> <div></div> <div></div> </div> <div> <div></div> <div></div> <div></div> </div> </div></a> A post shared by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/breakfastbitch_sd/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Breakfast bitch</a> (@breakfastbitch_sd) on <time datetime="2019-05-19T23:37:17+00:00">May 19, 2019 at 4:37pm PDT</time> A post shared by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/breakfastbitch_sd/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Breakfast bitch</a> (@breakfastbitch_sd) on <time datetime="2019-05-01T15:19:35+00:00">May 1, 2019 at 8:19am PDT</time> </div></blockquote> </div>
