Italian Restaurant Brings a Slice of Naples to North Park

Piromallo opened Little Italy classics Buon Appetito and Sogno di Vino during his decade working with the Buon Appetito restaurant group; its founder, Antonino Mastellone, operates many Italian eateries around town and offered Piromallo the opportunity to take over the Il Postino space. Continuing the welcome trend of regional Italian food, Siamo Napoli’s menu showcases Naples’ popular seafood dishes, from a chilled salad of octopus, shrimp, and calamari to mussels steamed with lemon and black pepper and a fisherman’s risotto chock full of shellfish. Housemade pasta will also be featured, as well as Neapolitan pizza cooked inside a wood and gas oven. Starting off with dinner service, the eatery has a full bar which will offer a predominantly Italian wine list and classic cocktails. </div>
