- There were speculations that Aniston’s wrist tattoo had something to do with her pet dog
Jennifer Aniston’s “11 11” wrist tattoo’s significance was finally explained by her dear friend, Andrea Bendewald.
Bendewald shared a birthday tribute to the “Friends” alum who celebrated her 52nd birthday last month. In her picture, she shared photos of them together including their matching “11 11” wrist tattoos. Apparently, the ink has something to do with the “11:11” wishes.
“Can’t wait to celebrate and make more magical wishes! 11:11,” she wrote on Instagram. “LOVE WALKING THROUGH THIS LIFETIME WITH YOU. Here’s to 37 MORE years of celebrating birthdays.”
Aniston’s “11 11” wrist tattoo sparked various speculations. Many thought it had something to do with her lucky number, or a tribute to her beloved dogs and even to her birthday, Feb. 11. In 2018, the “Murder Mystery” star first shared a glimpse of her tattoo which a source close to her said symbolized her birthday and late dog, Norman, a Welsh Corgie-Terrier, that passed away in 2011. Aniston loved Norman so much and inked his name on the inside of her foot.
Meanwhile, many people are said to make wishes when the clock strikes 11:11 in hopes that it will come true. The numbers 11 and 1111 are considered the new beginning and moments of oneness. In numerology, the number 11 possesses qualities of patience, honesty, spirituality, sensitivity, and intuition. It also signifies compassion. Simonetta Lein, The Wishmaker, has shared her opinion about it.
“In my opinion and what resonates with me, is that when you see ‘11:11’ whether on a clock, a license plate, an address or wherever you happen to see it, embrace it like it is a friendly little sign from your soul, source, higher-self, or the entire Universe, whatever you choose to call it, God, if you will, that everything is in alignment and you are exactly where you need to be, right here, right now,” she wrote.
“So, my wish this week for you is to collect as many good moments and experiences as possible. Make as many wishes on 11:11, or that shooting star on anything else you believe in and just dream, hope and live so that when you are old and life plays as a flashback, it is a colorful movie, not a black and white reel.”
