Mystery boom heard across San Diego County

San Diego (KUSI) – A loud noise was heard throughout San Diego County on Tuesday night, but the cause of the boom was unclear.

It happened around 8:15 pm, and residents, including San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, reported hearing the boom on social media.

“Yes, I heard,” Gloria wrote on Twitter. “No, I don’t know what it was. I’ll share any information.”
