San Diego police are investigating after someone fired shots at parked cars in Bay Terraces midday Thursday.
Someone called 911 about 1:15 p.m. to report hearing about five to six gunshots in the area of Windward Street and Paradise Hills Road, Officer Darius Jamsetjee said.
Someone in a gold SUV opened fire on unoccupied vehicles, he said. There were no known injuries.
The SUV used in the shooting may have been a 2007 or 2008 GMC or Chevrolet Suburban, Jamsetjee said.
