Chula Vista police are investigating the killing of a 17-year-old shot at Sunset View Park, the department confirmed.
The shooting was reported at the park on Greensview Drive at around 8:20 p.m. Thursday, according to Lt. Eric Thunberg. Medics took the teen to Mercy Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
The Chula Vista Police Department’s Homicide Unit is at the park investigating.
No other information was available.
