The search begins for a new San Diego Unified School District Superintendent

San Diego (KUSI) – Thursday was the first virtual community session to get the public’s opinions and ideas about who they would like to be the next director of the San Diego Unified School District.

According to Christopher Rice Wilson, chairman of the SDUSD Supervisory Search Committee, there are 20 sessions, the first 10 being virtual.

Applications for the next supermarket will be accepted in October and November.

The advisory board selects the top 10 candidates, and the board of directors narrows them down to three.

Then more community input sessions exceed the last three.

Finally, the board finally selects the next supervisor.
