Small bites will his primary focus, with a selection of ceviches and tiraditos that pay homage to the chef’s Sinaloan heritage. The chef shared, “We are preparing very eclectic dishes ranging from American comfort foods, South American flavors, French techniques and of course Mexican flare and ingredients.” Oceguera will also oversee <strong>Above Ash</strong>, a rooftop cocktail bar with bay and city views that will feature fire pits and a large LED TV wall for screening outdoor movies. </p>

Opening next month at W. Ash and State Street in Little Italy is the <a href="https://curiocollection3.hilton.com/en/hotels/california/carte-hotel-san-diego-downtown-curio-collection-by-hilton-SANCRQQ/index.html"><strong>Carté Hotel</strong></a>, 16-floor, 246-room LEED Silver Certified hotel that’s part of Hilton’s Curio Collection. It will house a full-service restaurant called <strong>Watercolors</strong> that will serve a “sea-to-table” menu at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Another bar called <strong>Fonte di Vino </strong>will showcase wines from Italy as a nod to its Little Italy location and highlight regional wineries and distilleries from Southern California and Mexico. The luxury property will also include more than 8.500-square-feet of event space, a heated saltwater pool, and access to Fit Athletic Club, a 28,000-square-foot gym located inside the hotel.
