A man was shot in downtown San Diego on Sunday night, police said.
Officers responded to a report from someone who heard three or four gunshots about 9:10 p.m. on Ash Street near Ninth Avenue, Officer John Buttle said.
Medics started CPR on the victim before taking him to a hospital. No further information was immediately available.
