Henderson used to defend the Duchess of Sussex. However, she got into a heated discussion with her KIIS FM co-host Kyle Sandilands Thursday in which she admitted that she no longer supports the Sussexes.
When she watched Prince Harry and Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, she was sympathetic to the royal couple. However, she admitted during her discussion with Sandilands about Kate Middleton that she no longer likes what she’s seeing with the Sussexes.
In Markle’s interview with Winfrey, she said that the rumors that she made Middleton cry were not true. Instead, “the reverse happened.” According to Markle, Middleton was upset about something and it made her cry. But she already forgave the Duchess of Cambridge because the latter apologized and sent her flowers and a card.
“I don’t like the way she threw Kate under the bus in that interview. I wasn’t happy with that. I thought that was really unnecessary,” Henderson was quoted by Nine.com.au as saying.
Sandilands defended Markle saying she went through trauma and even had suicidal thoughts. But Henderson firmly defended the Duchess of Cambridge saying, “Well, she doesn’t have to throw Kate under the bus.”
“She never puts a foot wrong. I think she’s such a classy woman… I just think she’s great for that role,” Henderson said referring to Middleton. “She’s a good princess.”
Sandilands agreed and reminded Henderson and the listeners about the time when the prince was linked to U.S. singer Britney Spears. At that point, Henderson chimed in saying Prince William’s brother went the wrong way when he chose to be with Markle.
“Harry could have gone either way, and he actually went the wrong way,” Henderson said. “I just think he’s made a mistake with Meghan, in a way.”
“Oh wow, so you’re anti-Meghan now?” Sandilands asked.
“A little,” Henderson replied.
Henderson is not the only one who seemingly believes that Prince Harry and Markle are not the best for each other. Candace Owens also claimed earlier that the Duke of Sussex is in an emotionally abusive relationship with his wife. She also felt that Prince Harry needs to be saved from Markle.
“I cannot say enough that Prince Harry is in an emotionally abusive relationship. Meghan has groomed him to believe that she is his mother reincarnate — only this time, he has a chance to save her,” Owens tweeted. “It is so disturbing to watch. Please stop putting cameras on him.”
Meanwhile, Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, also felt that Prince Harry is destroying himself. He said that his public outbursts against the royal family won’t help his healing.
“I think he’ll be left broken when this all stops and he realises what he’s done,” Burrell said.
