Better Buzz Coffee Now Comes With an Ocean View in Pacific Beach

Soft-serve ice cream makes a debut at the Grand Avenue location, with vegan matcha flavor and another modeled after Better Buzz’s Best Drink Ever®, an Americano with sweet cream and vanilla, each available in a cup or cone with a variety of toppings. The Best Drink Ever® soft-serve is also featured in a new cold brew float. Featuring the convenience of a drive-thru, plus dedicated parking, the cafe also offers 44 seats in a stylish, on-trend space that includes a covered rooftop patio with an ocean view. In addition to a full range of beverages, including signature drinks like orange-infused matcha and a rosewater latte, the menu includes breakfast sandwiches, toasts, and acai bowls as well as pistachio croissants and other pastries provided by Bread & Cie.
Better Buzz opens a drive-thru on the coast
Better Buzz Coffee launched its third location just in Pacific Beach over the holiday weekend, a testament to the brand’s overwhelming popularity in neighborhood. Sitting a seashell’s throw from the boardwalk, the Grand Avenue outpost is open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’s the ninth Better Buzz in the San Diego area; the local company runs its production out of a roastery in Vista and has a central hub in Hillcrest.
The rapidly-growing coffee collective will be opening a spot in downtown La Jolla by early August; marketing coordinator Daniel Greig tells Eater that the company is planning to expand with four more locations in 2019.
